I entered the CBC Hockey Night In Canada Anthem Challenge in the summer of 08. Figuring the odds were better than a lottery, I gave it a shot. It was stimulating and challenging to think along a Sport-themes line and write into a 30 second format. I didn't win obviously but at least I learned something in the process which seemed to make it worthwhile.

My Father, Danny Gain and brother Michael Gain are the two real musicians of the family. I'm just a visual artist who likes to play around with music.This 'playing around' however has brought me to quite a few places & spaces over the years.

I've played in a number of situations from big band and smaller groups to solo and duo and have done so in a variety of venues and mediums.
